Mapping Contest
Hey,
I was reading about Sly-s competitive map thread.
I was wondering if a mapping contest could be a possibility sometime in the future. I don-t really care about winning a mapping contest per se - but from experience - it does draw a lot of people in to make maps on a certain theme in a certain amount of time.
There can be some guidelines (battle, under 400kb, etc...)
has this been done before? do you think it would stall and die?
Im just thinking it could be a good way to get people to whip up some maps for the competitive scene as well as for ROCK, all under one theme, with some bragging rights at the end of it.
Regards,

Re: Mapping Contest
This could be arranged, who would be the judges and who will set the criteria and rules?
Re: Mapping Contest
I am just throwing it out there. I dont know - but most likely not someone doing a map already.
Id say - for instance, if the map is for the battle scene. Get a member of each concerned clan to be a judge. Criterias being what they actually care about (Gameplay! and glitchless, details & look a little bit).

Again im throwing it out there. I certainly can-t run it right now as my time is limited.
